Suku Batak is yet another completely sun-dried coffee, also grown around Lake Toba in the Lintongnihuta area to the south and Seribu Dolok area to the east.  It is a double picked preparation with a little wider classification.

This Indonesian coffee is heavy bodied with mellow acidity, offering flavors of cedar, fresh earth, leather, and herbal nuance - a more typical Sumatran offering.

This coffee is a great drip option as the weather cools, and a heavier bodied-coffee is necessary for the chocolate holiday treats. Suku Batak also works as a single-origin espresso with the herbal nuances.
